What

In a friendly group, we will practise English conversation. We will teach practical phrases through a debating activity. Participants will be guided on how to form arguments and present them clearly.

Two topics will be discussed:

  • It is better that the legal drinking age in Japan is 20.

  • An experience is a better purchase than a material possession.

When

1pm to 3pm, Sunday 21 January 2024 (GMT+9). Registration and payment info here. Attendance fee is 2,000 ¥ or 20 AUD.

Where

The workshop will happen as a group meeting on Zoom. The Zoom meeting link will be emailed to you after registering.

  • I am a beginner at English. Is it ok to join?
    You may find it difficult to keep up with the workshop’s content if you don’t have a little foundation. It’s advised to have at least 6-months of experience first.
  • I am not Japanese. May I join?
    Yes! You’re welcome to. The workshop will be delivered in English.
  • I am planning to come to Australia. Will this workshop be helpful for me?
