Sunsets while dining on seafood, blissful. The sun next to Wat Arun is mesmerising.

Dining during the sunset at View ARUN is a special affair. The rooftop restaurant has an immediate view of Chao Phraya River and is on eye-level with Wat Arun. It’s serene to watch boats and barges float by as the sun sets next to one of Thailand’s most iconic structures.

Wat Arun is a temple constructed during the early nineteenth century. It is unique being one of the few Buddhist temples you can climb on. Its tower is 82m high and glimmers with floral mosaics made from Chinese porcelain.

The restaurant is on an open-air deck that at peak times, can feel a bit crowded. There is a bar serving beer, wine, cocktails and spirits. Below, there are several floors where 6 rooms offer a boutique hotel experience. The hotel is called ARUN Riverside. Wooden finishes are prominent throughout, representative of traditional Thai architectural style.
